Lynn and Geri Hansen have a home away from home that they love to share with others. Actually it is a quaint frontier cabin with the grandeur of a mountain lodge that is perfect for family vacations, family reunions and wedding parties. Soda Creek Lodge is located on the historic Oregon Trail, nestled in the picturesque mountain village of Soda Springs, Idaho. It is surrounded by hiking trails for summer fun and snowmobile trails for winter fun.

The easy to use customization tools helped him locate their lodge, upload their logo, add a link to their website and reservations calendar and draw and label the lodge’s features and amenities. He then added the SiteSeer3D map to his website by simply adding the provided HTML code. Their website now includes the valuable state provided recreation information such as the hiking, biking and snowmobile trails that is so important to their business.

Idaho’s virtual 3D tourism system got even better for the Hansen’s. It enabled them to promote their business on the state’s flagship tourism website, www.VisitIdaho.org, using the SiteSeer3D map they just created. Their custom SiteSeer3D map was automatically shared onto the State Virtual Tourism System. They are anxiously waiting for their Chamber of Commerce and other complimentary businesses in the area to launch SiteSeer3D onto their website so they can also share their SiteSeer3D map with them creating additional promotional opportunities.

“Even though I am not a professional website programmer, I found SiteSeer3D very easy to add to our website to help market our lodge. Our website has even become a virtual tour guide for our guests. By utilizing the free Wifi service we provide at the lodge, our guests can logon to our website, click on SiteSeer3D, virtually explore the area and plan their day complete with directions to their destination” said Lynn Hansen.
